Browns Thermal Engineering
Yet another industry pioneer, Browns Thermal Engineering (Pvt) Ltd. (BTEL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Browns and is the only large-scale manufacturer of heat exchangers in Sri Lanka. Between 1968 and early 2000s, Browns Thermal Engineering has grown as a force in the industrial and power generation sector with successions of industrial and locomotive radiators. The undisputed market leader in the auto and industrial radiator segments, BTEL currently manufactures world-class brass and copper radiators under the brand name of RADCO at the Browns Industrial Park in Makandura, Pannala.
From being the only manufacturing arm under Browns Group, RADCO has become a coveted name and the market leader in the non-auto segment, and has captured a large majority in the auto segment as well. BTEL also owns and operates a plastic moulding facility that supplies plastic components to the battery industry in Sri Lanka. In addition to the heat exchangers, BTEL manufactures ‘coolants’—a complementary product line.

Services:
Designing
BTEL has a team of design engineers who could design heat exchangers as per the requirement of customers. BTEL has already completed benchmark designs for Automobile, Plantation & Laundry industries.
Installation
Most of the industrial radiators need trained technicians to install radiators to their machinery. BTEL has capabilities to cater to all customer requirements island-wide and we have successfully completed a few overseas projects as well.
Inspection
